CNN posts Hurricane Katrina Safelist

CNN has posted a Hurricane Katrina Safelist -- a place where survivors of Hurricane Katrina can post their names and a brief message to loved ones who may be searching for them in the aftermath of the storm, to let them know that they are OK, since power, water, phones, and many essential services still have not been restored to the areas hardest hit by Hurricane Katrina.

If you have been displaced by the hurricane, but have found temporary shelter, be sure to add your name so that loved ones and friends can locate you quicker.
